The COVID-19 pandemic has created some challenges for us in on-boarding new volunteers and has limited our ability to take on as many new volunteers as we would like. For this reason, we may not be able to connect with you right away to explore your volunteer interests. We appreciate your patience and look forward to seeing how you can join the KPTZ family as soon as restrictions ease.
Volunteers are the heart of KPTZ. We rely on our dynamic community of over 100 volunteers to keep the station running every day. Our volunteers handle everything from advanced technical radio engineering to answering phones, and everything in between. There’s a place for you in our positive, supportive, creative and fun organization!
Never worked at a radio station before? No problem. We love training new volunteers and helping people learn skills and develop talents they never knew they had. If you’re looking for a volunteer opportunity that is like nothing you’ve ever done before, KPTZ is for you!
