Steve Shapiro, our Board Treasurer and much more, and his wife Kris Shapiro before him as Station Manager, have been instrumental in the success and growth of KPTZ from our first days on air in May of 2011.
Simply put, we wouldn’t be where we are now without their hard work and sharp intelligence. Steve, in the last years, has been a strong hand behind-the-scenes to manage our finances and organize our programming on the weekends. He’s always on top of things; we’ve never had to worry about anything being overlooked.
We wish them all the best on their voyage off to warmer climates in Arizona. KPTZ will be appreciative for their hard work as long as we are on the air.
